Story In My Pocket

7:00 - 8:00 pm
Itinerant oral storytellers once travelled from place to place bringing tales, legends and information of the outside world to people. Leduc County can boast its own storyteller who calls the legendary ‘Tire & Girdle Capital of Canada’ home. Since 1991, Mary Ann Lippiatt of New Sarepta, has travelled with Story In My Pocket attracting intergenerational audiences in communities, schools & libraries. Her colorful embellishments create wonder, true life anecdotes make people laugh and her heartfelt tales heal. Come out and enjoy an hour of Mary Ann’s stories.
